The Leadville site provides a lot of great details about crewing.
- Event Schedule
- Crew Information: The site indicates there are 4 crewing locations.
- Outward Bound: I don’t think there is any reason for anyone to crew here.
- Pipeline: This is a SUPER FUN crew location and will be one of my primary support sites
- Twin Lakes Dam: This is my other primary support site!
- This site technically requires shuttling, but last year, I parked in the “Sunnyside Fishing Site” and walked over to the Mountain View Overlook Info parking
- Technically, supporting at the Mountain View Overlook is illegal, but no one cared last year.
- I recommend this approach; you do need to pay if you use this site. I’ll Venmo someone if you decide to go this route.

Pacing & Nutrition
The spreadsheet below shows my pacing plan. I start in the “White Corral” at 0645. The italicized aid stations are where I plan to have people support. You will see me twice. The first time will be Outbound, and the second will be Inbound.
The “Pace Time” is the EARLIEST I expect to be at each aid station. Yes, I’m going to try and pace for a 9-hour finish…
I will give both aid stations two bags. One bag will be for outbound and the other for inbound. On the second tab, I’m working out what I’ll be putting in each bag.
The map below contains pins (Green) for all of the crewing locations.
The most important ones are Pipeline & Twin Lakes. Twin Lakes has three different pins depending on what the crew decides they want to do.
